Ali'i Fire protection was founded by Peter Kim in 1978.

After 26 years in the Fire Department, Peter retired and started his own company to continue his dedication to life and property protection. Peter and his wife Grace would go door to door inquiring if anyone was in need of fire protection services. As time went on, they were able to establish a solid client base and welcomed their son Jared into the business in 1980. The experience that Jared gained in the U.S. Navy contributed to the growth of the company.

To continue the legacy Jared, along with his wife Mary Kim, introduced their two daughters Danika Irurita and Jaynee Kim and their son-in-law Alex Irurita to the business in 2005 where they continue Peter's legacy till this day.
